self examination too rough

I'm 21 almost 22 and the other day I came across some article online about TC and decided it was about time i start giving myself self examinations. I never had any pain or anything previous to this. So, i look up how to perform the self examination and everything. Later that day when i go to take a warm shower i perform the examination and everything went smoothly (literally). No lumps or tenderness. But the next day...i noticed a dull kinda pain/discomfort in my scrotum...but it seems to be my epididimus (spelling), not the testicles. I feel i may have been to rough with the epididimus while pokin around down there. It seems odd that the first time i give myself an examination all of a sudden pain starts immediatly after. I did another examination and still no lumps or anything. Anyone have an opinion on this?

It sounds like you might have been a little too rough. Give it afew days and you should be fine.
