  • I have no idea.

A while ago (atleast 6 months ago). I noticed a jelly bean sized and shaped growth on the top of my right testicle. I had never done a self-exam before, so i have no idea if it was there before. I went to the doctor and he said not to worry about it but sent me to a urologist anyway. I went to the urologist and he said that it was just my epididymus and he wasnt worried. But he offered to do a Ultra-sound to calm my nerves. I agreed but didnt show up to the appt. I guess I just forced myself to agree with his diagnosis. Anyway, now, the lump is still there, but hasnt grown at all. Now, at the back of my testicle. Not attached to the testicle but on the top of what feels like a very thin sack, is a bundle of almost snake like cords that are bumpy and coiled, have appeared. It is anchored in the testicle by 2 very thin "cords". I read somewhere that you could tell if something was a cyst by shinning a bright light through the scrotum. Well i did this and like passes through part of it but some of it doesnt. And even more, there is a spot that light wont pass through, but it doesnt feel like anything is there more than a vein. I dont know what to do. I checked my testicle for hardness. But i cant remember what it used to feel like. I also have a sharp pain sometimes right above my penis, but it comes and goes, like once a week. I also had some lower back pain, but i when to the chiropractor, and had my back adjusted and now it doesnt hurt anymore. Also I have been having random muscle pains all over my body. Some are right below my rib cage, some are lower abdomen. I also have some pain in my left breast. But it isn't "tender" like some sites say that cancer feels like. It just feels like a muscle pull. But then i also have pain in my legs and arms. So i have no idea if it is related at all. I dont know what to do. I am only on my parents insurance for another 4 weeks. I dont know what to do.

It sounds as though you may have a varicocele, though it will take another visit to the urologist to be sure.

(Do you have some other explanation for the various muscle pains?)

I dont know. I have a desk job. And i do kinda sit slouched, so my current lack of activity could be the cause of the muscle pains.

hey i have the exact same symptoms as u with the bad lower back but ive always had a bad back i also have had numbness in my left leg and lower back sometimes, a dull ache on my left testicle which has seemed alittle larger for about a year now and i also feel as if my right testicle is smaller but it may just be the left is bigger. When my testicles are warm and loose these really thick veins surround my left testicle and are seen obviously on the outside, im really scared its cancer i know its not likely but my friend was just diagnosed so its got really afraid ...im really intrested to see what your outcome is and would love to talk more about this with you

It does seem enlarged. I had my other testicle removed when i was 3. So i cant compare it to anything. But I was reading your other post, and the symptoms are almost exactly the same. PLZ let me know what the urologist says. I have gone to the doc, and he said it was nothing. But i donno.

I called the doctor and told him to schedule me an ultrasound, and that i didnt want to wait a month to get it. He said ok, and I have one tomorrow. Ill let you know what he says.

OK just had it. It was just fluid cysts. What a relief. I still dont understand how fluid cysts could feel so hard to the touch. but im so relieved.
