  • A bit worried

Hi, I'm 18 years old, and just have a few questions.

Since my early teens, I've noticed a tiny lump/string attatched to my right testicle. I can't really call it a lump however, since its more of a string, that I can move around. It's probably around 3-5mm in length, and has never seemed to grow at all throughout the past 5-8 years. It is somewhat sensitive to touch, and is right next to my epididimus. (at the top of my testicle)

Durring the past like 5-8 years, while leaning forward for extended periods of time, I've noticed that my testicles can become uncomfortable. However when I get up and move around, or do something else, I never notice this pain. It doesn't happen very often, but the other day I decided to investigate this pain and look up TC on the internet. I noticed that I have some of the symtoms...and was just wondering if I should be at all worried.

I tend to jump to conclusions alot of the time, and get myself super worked up, so I'd just really appreciate someone elses outside opinion. For the past two days I've been worrying about it, and am continually thinking about the chance of having cancer. This slight pain has tended to happen quite frequently in these last two days...but it might just be because it's all I'm thinking about.

    Thanks for any help

If I had to guess, I'd say it's the appendix testis. If you aren't sure about it, you should ask your doctor.

      Thanks alot

Thanks alot, I appreciate the help!

Do you know of any sites that would show pictures, or a drawing of this? I think I would have a better idea of what it is if I could get a picture of what it should be shaped like.

      Thanks again.

          Woo hoo

Awsome, that's exactly what I pictured it as...thanks alot!

I still think I'm gonna go to the doctor sometime though, just for a double check. My testicle has been somewhat sore the last day or two...could be just because it's all I'm thinking about, or because I was constantly feeling for TC... and now it's sore or something...

          Thanks again
