  • A little advice needed...

Hi, a week past friday, 9/12/05 I noticed that my epididymis round my left testicle was large. I compared this to my right testicle but it seems normal. The epididymis on the left testicle is huge in comparison! Its soft to touch and my testicles are not sore to touch and i have found no lumps on my testicles. What I am worried about is the size of the epididymis, is this normal? is it okay? Can anyone share experiences or give some advice

    Thanks

    Brian

Brian, it's most likely something like epididymitis or a spermatocele. You should see your doctor or a urologist for diagnosis and treatment, if necessary.

Hey, the epididymis round my left testicle is about 1.5 times the size of my testicle. Is this normal? Plus can you tell me a little about what epididymitis or spermatocele is?

      Thanks

You'll definitely want to have it checked out. Epididymitis is an inflammation of the epididymis, and a spermatocele is a "cyst-like mass within the scrotum that contains fluid and dead sperm cells."
