okay about 2 years ago i found a lump on the very top of my left testical it really diddnt give me any probs so i diddnt think much about it. just about 2 weeks before xmas it started to have a dull ache in the testical and my stomach
but it went away in about 4 days... but then 2 days befor xmas i woke up and stood up and my lower back was killing me it get but it dulled down to a dull ache apon my upper and lower back... and today i woke up and my upper chest has a small percing pain in it.... from what i read these r allll sypmtoms and they are latter stage symtoms i am only 18 i am really scared. i told my mom and she said i diddnt have health insureance so itl just have to wait and it was most likley my weight (i am overweight). but i am scared that i am in the later stages and i am gunna like croke or something... my chest pain il like really high on my chest on the right side almost by neck its not very painfull but its like a weird peircing feeling like i am breathing it very cold air to quik its not hard to breath at all... is tc curable if it has spread to ur chest?

    Find a way.

Dustin, 1st. Insist on getting yourself to a Urologist. It should not matter whether you have insurance or not. You need to have it looked at. I am not sure where you are from, but there should be options for your case.

2nd, dont get yourself worked up about it. This could be lots of unrealated to TC conditions. The good thing is there is such a high cure rate for TC, and you are aware of it enough to be of concern to you.

The procedure for checking for TC would be blood work, and a ultrasound by a Urologist. These are not extremly costly and not painful at all. Do yourself a favor by getting yourself checked out. Let us know how you make out.

Chances are good that your symptoms point to something other than testicular cancer, but the best way to be sure is to see a doctor -- even though you don't have health insurance. Could you talk to a school nurse or visit a health clinic?

        Dustin:
Yes the symptoms could be tc or any of a hundred other things. Take the advise from Scott and get in touch with a clinic in your area. If it is serious you want to catch it as early as possible. It may be difficult at 18 but you are responsible for you own health and not your mom. Just explain your symptoms to the clinic and get checked out.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with having your mom or dad help. I took care of all of my son's appointments and he was 23. If, and this is a big if, it is cancer it is very curable. The doctor will certainly not tell you that you will die, he will tell you how curable it is even in late stages.
