i found this on a website about TC:

Cancers of the epididymis are very rare, and any solid lump outside the testis is likely to be inflammatory but must nonetheless be referred for specialist assessment.

as i have a solid lump, outside the teste which is attached to the epididymis by what feels like a thin cord i really hope it is inflammatory!

i also think it could be a spermatocele. I can feel what is like a bubble filled with fluid, and i think the lump might actually be on the bubble. But im not sure at all about that, only guessin cos i feel the same thing on my other nut, except the lump.

Lastly, i think i recall finding this lump possibly a few months ago but i dismissed it right away cos it was not painful. If *touch wood* it was indeed cancerous, how long do u reckon it would take for any other symptomns, discomforts or anything to occur?

    thx

Right, the lump would be in or on the testicle. See these self-examination instructions for more details.

Make sure you keep an eye on it and don't hesitate to tell your parents that you're worried. They'll be glad you told them.

Yea i think it is attached by a very thin piece of tissue to the epididymis, but the whole thing is unerneath the epidermis. I think at the moment i am going to leave it be, however, if i develop any further symptoms or it gets larger i will probably have to bite the bullet and tell my parents.

Thanks Scott, u are really kind.

edit - i was also wondering, if u have testicular cancer, should the lump be in, and attached to the testicle. Im not sure on that one

    Worried

about a month ago i found a small lump on my left nut. It is sometimes quite hard to find. Basically i usually find it up against the side near the epidermis (i think). however, i can actually get my finger and thumb inbetween it and my teste. It does, however, get to a point where it cant go any further suggesting something is keeping it down there. I think it is attached to the epidermis or testicle in some way.

should i be worried? Can it be TC? i dont really wanna tell my parents and go to the Doctors and also would it get bigger if it was TC? i dont think i have any other symptoms, i dont get pain or nethin.

    thx

edit - pretty sure it is attached to the epidermis
