    Im a 19 years old.. and awhile back. i'd say a few years ago i found this lump on my left testical.. It is smaller then a pea and it doesnt hurt.. So i have been telling myself since then that it cant be cancer.. Im so fricken scared to tell anyone cuz i dont want to find it its cancer.. This has been eating me up ever since i found it.. I have no clue what to do. I am just so scared and dont want to tell anyone cuz what they might think of me .

    The attached link will take you to a site that will describe how to do a proper self exam. If after your done and your still worried go to a doctor and get it checked. If it's anything it's most likely a cyst. I wouldn't worry about what others might think if it's a cyst or testicluar cancer (which I doubt) it not caused by lifestyle or being some kind of bad person. These things just happen.

          If you go to the doctor, you find everything is OK and then someone finds out they would probably say they are glad to see you are OK.. If something is wrong and your friends found out you didn't go to a doctor and get checked out, THEN they would probably think you were pretty stupid(Which I'm sure your not) !!!!!!! Whenever in life you don't know the answers-Find someone that does--In this case you will find the answers from a doctor!!!!!! Good Luck!!!!!

            I hope you went man...Your 19 you can go alone and in secret... then just have the doctor check you real quick...Its better safe then sorry...and it can be a total secret.

              So did you get it checked yet...almost a month has passed?
              Retired moderator. Husband, left I/O 16Dec2005, stage I seminoma with elevated b-HCG, no LVI, RTx15 (25Gy). All clear ever since.
