thank you, i really feel great.
right now we're monitoring my inguinal nodes to see if the swelling goes down, wish me luck.
oh, and i mentioned rob, two posts above. i meant to say scott...no clue where rob came from
good news!
it was a cyst, thank god!
even though i did not have cancer, i feel i've learned basically the same lesson i'd learn if i did have it. enjoy everyday, enjoy your health, and live life to the fullest.
thanks to everybody here, especially rob and dadmo, you really eased my worry!
i'm minutes away from leaving for the e.r.
i'm even more worried if it could be lymphoma, my lymph nodes are swollen, so...
prognosis for that is 6-8 years.
yay.
I wish you the best of luck and just like Dadmo said, if it turns out to be cancer you will beat it and move on with your life and use your story to help encourage others to be strong and fight it.
Please keep us up to date as I would like to know what happens.
Nothing's infallible.....you can have the light test indicate a hydrocele, but it could ba a reactive hydrocele, formed as a reaction to a mass. I agree with dadmo that it sounds like a cyst. Glad you're getting it checked...no sense wasting time and energy on worrying! Good luck!
thanks man, you're kind words mean alot to me.
i will definitely be getting it checked, very very soon.
i was also wondering about the light shining test, is that infallible?
The fact that they are "branching away from the testicle" will almost certainly mean you have a cyst. Still get it checked. I don't think you have cancer but I know what you will do if it is, you will beat it as so many others have.
i'm young, 15 years old.
i have felt a lump on the top/back of my left testicle, almost definitely branching off of the epididymis. I also have enlarged lymph nodes in the groin.
Within the next day or two, i'll be seeing my family physician.
I finally managed to get an appointment, my delay is unfortunate and admitedly, a mistake on my part. However, that is in the past.
So, i'm almost positive this will be an epididymal cyst or spermatocele or the like.
I will definitely keep everyone updated as to how things go.
so,
in regards to e.c's and spermatoceles, can they be felt branching away fronm the testicle, like...a hot-air baloon shape, or are they attached close to the testes like a half dome?
Even with the good odds, i'm very scared. I can't imagine what i'll do if it's cancer. thanks for your support.
