Nobody will turn their back on you if you find out you have cancer. You can only realize you your real mates are and you could become closer with your girlfriend.

You shouldn't tell you parents...hey guys I think I have cancer...it would be best if you said that you found a lump and that you would like to have it checked.

Did the doctor do any test or did he just feel for the problem?

i hav seen the doctor n he sed it was nuffin 2 worry about, but i still felt tht watevr it was wasnt gd. he ses its not cancer but im still afraid tht it may effect my future n havin kids.

but uvr thn tht it all gd n i even told my gf which was easier thn i 4t n was helpd cos as a child she had menagitus so tht helpd alot.

You are doing the right thing. Tell your parents and see the doctor. It could be TC, but it could be something else. At least you will know and either way it is better to know than to worry.

And if it is TC, it is nothing to be ashamed of. Your friends and those you love will be there for you.

I am glad you will tell your parents - they will be very proud of you because they know it is not easy to tell them something personal like this.

Let us know what the doctor says.

yer thanx m8. iv told sum1 else 2 n hav been speakin bout it, i am tellin my parents very soon n seeing the doctor on monday. n i am snedin my gf a letter about how i ffel about her so hopefully she feels the same.

U say its very slim n i no tht, but im pretty certain it is TC

You have to remember that your not talking about having some kind of STD that your parents and freinds are going to bust your balls about-- Your talking about having a potentially life threatening disease. With that said the chances of it actually being TC are very slim. NOBODY is ever going to make fun of you or think differently of you for fearing that you might have cancer.. When is the best time to tell your parents???? RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! Your Girlfreind??? If you truly do love her then you should tell her-If she truly feels the same for you she will stand by your side whatever the outcome.. so wen is a good time to break it to my parents? and wat am i ment to tell my girlfriend? i luve her and im afraid of losing her becos of this

im jus afriad of it bein tc and then not being able hav kids l8r on in life. becos i hav another little lump that can hardly be felt on my left testcle. I hav found out that i also hav another thing varicocele I think.

If you have a lump, you need to have it checked out by a doctor.
Pure and simple. If it turns out to be TC, you'll get the required
treatment, get cured and your life will be great again.

If you have TC, and ignore it, I guarantee, it WILL ruin your life!

Talk with your parents, please.

You can just say to one of your parents, "I found a lump on one of my testicles, and I think a doctor should check it." It may seem awkward, but it won't be that big a deal. It's the best way to find out what it is and get on with living.

Many of us on this site have been through treatment for testicular cancer, and our lives have been changed but not ruined. Far from it!

well im 16 and iv had a lump on my teste for a while at first i thought it was tc but i wasnt sure, but now i believe i do havtc.

but im unsure wat to do. i hav a great life and i just no that this is going to ruin it for me. i hav a girlfriend at the moment n so im scared shell soon find out to so i m scared.

I jus cant tell anyone cos then my life will be ruined cos evry1 will think differently of me n the person i love will probably leave me if she found out but i cnt keep it frm her.

n how am i ment to tell sum1. i cnt jus go to my parents i think iv got tc. I NEED HELP
