It sounds as though it's more likely to be an injury than cancer, but it's still a good idea to tell a parent and probably have a doctor check things out.Scott

Take control and tell them you need want to go to the doctor. I assume that they'll listen, but if not I would personally over exaggerate the pain till they did.
Sound like it's not TC, but whatever is causing the pain needs to be addressed.

I know a lot of guys have little or no pain with their TC, but personally I had a lot of sharp pain, so much so that I went to the E/R. Apparently I had an inflammation in addition to the tumor. Although it sounds like an injury, you should probably ask your parents to take you to the doctor to make sure it isn't TC. And even if it is an injury, it could be something that requires medical attention. I remember hearing some nasty things that can explain sharp pain in the testicles before the docs figured out it was a tumor/inflammation. Finally, I'd recommend going to a urologist if possible because they see more cases of testicular problems (TC or otherwise) than any general practitioner.

I had swelling followed by intermitent, but sharp, pains in my left testicle. Go straight to a urologist if your parents' insurance allows. He or she will be much more familar with testicular cancer symptoms.
Remember though, it's still a rare disease and there's a good chance it's not what you have.Right I/0 March 30, 2005
