I'm afraid I don't have any relevant information or experience. I assume you've already done a Google search on "hydrocelectomy." Did you ask your urologist for his opinion?

OK BIG QUESTION!? haha.....i got my hydrocele operation a week ago...my right testicle was the one he worked on, nowww its muchhh higher then my left? is it because the cords above it are swolen so they have to shrink down? please answer

AHHHH lol

wow this is so amazing, well i just got surgery last friday.....they drained my right testi and now its normal size ! ahh SOOO much better....but the cut hurts still haha......THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED ME, i will def. keep talkin on this site, helpin people out....thanks!

well i'm glad its "almost" over lol

I just got back from the urologist. He said it was a hydrocele, and that theres nothing to worry about. I'm getting surgery a week from tomorrow. So hopefully everything goes well, and it all works out fine. Hopefully it doesnt swell after, and stay swolen....thanks for everyones advice, i feel much better now and i feel like alot of weight has been lifted off my back

WOW i feel sooo much better, well today i did alot of things.....i went to the hospital to see a urologist and thanks dadmo i made an app. with dr.campo and since i already went to see one i didnt think i need a second.....well i went to the hospital and talked to a urologist and he said it might be a hydrocele. So i he called a place...i forget what it was called and i went today and got an autopsy, or some sortive scan where the gell this thing up and move it around on my testi. We got the pictures and on thurs. i'm going back to the urologist and he will make his decision as to what it is on that day. Will i have to go through surgery to get this fixed if it is infact a hydrocele?

Isn't it amazing how much better you can feel by going to the doctors. Great job.
The urologist will feel the testicles and try and find the lump. If he finds one he may schedule you for an ultrasound but don't assume you have anything bad, it's just a precaution. If you get an ultrasound scheduled it will only take a few minutes, it will be another exam if the testicles and this will tell the doctor if the lump is solid or fluid filled, it's really a simple check. Good luck with the urologist.

The chances are that you wont need anything done. Even in the worst case 70% are cured with the removal of the testicle.
