My name is stephen. About 2 years ago i first noticed a small lump on my testicle. I let it go until about 6 months ago. At that time i told my dad and he took me to get an ultrasound. They said there was nothing wrong, that it was just a cyst, but i live in a small town and it is just country doctors out here. I dont know if they can misread the ultrasound or not? Since then it seems like i have gotten some kind of fluid in my scrotum. Please reply asap. Thank You

If you have a fluid build up in your scrotum it would be caused by a hydrocele, check this link. It isn't cancer but you should go back to the doctor for an evaluation. As far as the ultrasound and the cyst. The film was probably read correctly, cysts are fairly common. When you go to the doctor for the hydrocele ask him to reevaluate the lump. You're local doctor may be great, but you really want to see a urologist if possible.Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Erectile dysfunction at your age isn’t a sign of cancer but it can certainly be a sign of nervousness.
Go to the doctor and get checked, My guess is that your ok but fear is a powerfull thing and it shouldn't be ignored. Get checked and the fear will go away. Keep us posted and good luck.Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.
