  • Hi all, Help

Hi, im 14, and for the past two months ive been feeling discomfort and pain, sometimes very sharp pains, in my left testicle. I am pretty sure i have a varicole because of the mass of tubes above the testicle. I can feel no lumps on the testicles, but there is definately lumps around in the tubes surrounding the testicle. One of these lumps, when squeezed, creates a pain in my lower belly, but the lump is not sore itself. Recently pains in my lower belly are reoccuring more and more and it is sore to push in. There is a raised line, near the front of the testicle, that is sore to touch. There are also pain in my left groin/thigh. Rationally im telling myself that it is very unlikely that it is cancer because there are no lumps on the testicle, but my immature mind has me parranoid and terrified, its affecting everything, my school work, and my social life. Plz give me your input, to give me a fair idea of how to proceed, whether or not it is likely i have TC and try to put my mind to rest. Thanks in advance

    Liason:
You're not immature at all, the fact that you are concerned with your health shows a great level of maturity and you are to be congratulated.
I don't think you need to worry about having testicular cancer, for it to be tc the lump must be part of the testicle itself not the tubing. What your describing sounds like a cyst which is quite common and not a big health issue. Even though I think your ok you should still get it checked by a urologist. Don't loose any sleep over this you're going to be fine.

Can the pain in my stomach be related to a cyst? Or the varicole? Sorry far askin so much, just the more i know the better i feel lol. Im in scot;and and its 22.18 here, and the left side of back is sore aswell, may be just the time and because ive been sitting for a while. But im parranoid lol any excuse. Sorry, i just feel better telling people these things.

Wow, I have just read the thread by Loast Parent about his son Patrik. They live so far away, and i have no idea but im reduced to tears by it, my own worries seem so trivial compared to what they are going through. It has made me more determined to go get this checked, Cancer or No, Pain or no, it isnt worth the risk. Thoughts and prayers to Patrick and his family.

The pain in your stomach could be from being a bit to rough during self exams. Give the boys a break for a few days and see if the pain goes away. Just make sure you get checked by a medical professional, I think you'll find out it's nothing to worry about but better safe then sorry.

Hello again, wee kinda update thing. No more pain in testicles (yay) but still sharp and almost constant pains in stomach area, upper lower and left hand side. What is a hernia? And is it possible i may have one of these? Also the back pains arent as bad but still on the verge of being noticable.
