Yea, be careful NYAlex on the insurance thing. You have to be referred by most all insurance's to see a Urologist, Oncologist, Specialy Dr's, etc. Luckily my roommate works for a well known insurance carrier in doing claims billing/adjusting so he told me everything that is protocol so that way I wont get stuck with a bill. Never hurts to call and ask your insurance carrier also on what to do. BTW, I did have my left testicle get quite hard also and than it started to grow and got noticeable large before I went to the DR(had no insurance at the time) and did turn out to be TC, but could of been a couple other things, so no need to stress too much, it will all turn out ok and be treated quick by the Dr. Good job on getting a sooner appt with your Dr...when I asked for an appt they told me a month too, but told them I think I have cancer and I was put in for 3days later
Good Luck

Been looking in the Yellow Pages and I called a few Urologists, All that I called say they don't accept my insurance (Medicade) At all or Unless refered by a Doc. If that's the case I need to wait a month, any suggestions to speed up the process? Should I call my family doctor and just ask for a referal??
Thanks, I'm going to get on that today. I already have an Doctor Appointment for Nov 2nd. Any help as to how I can see a Doctor sooner about this? Won't Urologist offices just schedule me the same way?
Oh, and one more thing. I should be more worried that one is harder than the other rather than the "pinprick" on the other? Or will the scans and such tell all?
Thanks for your reply Scott, you seem to be a very helpful guy on this forum-Thank you. The size differance is minimal, my main worry is the differance in "hardness" as that's what make's the size differance. The "squishy" one feels smaller only because of that, comparativly the Hard one feels bigger but by feeling and checking their foughly the same.
I'm only 17, would I be able to see the doc on my own? I really don't want to get my family up in arms unless I really have to. But I suppose this may just qualify for "having to"..
Hey everyone, I've been going through a mild paranoia and don't quite know what to make of the "symptoms" I may or may not (Hopefully) be having. when perfroming a self exam after some mild pain I found a few strange abnormalties I'm not sure what to make of.
1. One Testicle seems bigger than the other
2. My left Testicle feels soft and almost squishy, also a small prick about the size of a pinhead is near where it "connects" but it definatly on the testicle.
3. My Right testicle seems unusually hard (though I've never done this much before...) like it won't "squeeze" at all until it's so hard it hurts. This is the bigger of the two.
I hope someone can give me some advice or thoughts on the situation, I've read both of these are symptoms of TC but I can't get to my doctors for nearly a month...could I have TC in both already?
