Testicular Cancer?

I am 14 years old and about 3 months ago i noticed the veins above my testicle felt strange and enlarged i understand that this sounds like a variocele but is it possible it is TC? I also noticed a small bump on my right thigh and told the doctor and he said not to worry about it could they be related?

TC would be in/on the testicle, so if there's no lumps on the testicle itself, I wouldn't worry about TC. I do think it would be a good idea to tell your doctor about it, though.

Where is the bump on your thigh located?

it is on the bottom of my right upper thigh it is under the skin and kind of hard to find unless your looking for it

Ok - I wouldn't worry about the bump.. it doesn't sound like the two things are related and even if someone had TC, that would be an extremely unlikely location for it to spread.

But like I mentioned before, I still think it would be a good idea to see your doctor about the enlargement of the veins.

Hi there im a 15 year old male to, I have what feels like worms from the top of my testicle to the top of the scrotum, Ive had a ultrascan already and it wa all clear, But the doctor doesnt know about what ive been experiencing up here, The symptoms are almost exactly the same to a varicole, Im trying to get my mam to book a appointment for the second time, Whats the odds of this being cancer, Thanks.

It's very unlikly that you have cancer. If it makes you feel better (and that's important) get checked again, explain everything that's bothering you and tell the doctor about your anxiety.

Thanks for the reply, But i just told my mam that i hav another lump at the top of my testicle, Dont feel right going into detail about it to her, So if i say that hes more then likely will feel what i feel, When the doctor examines me he/she should be able to feel it. But if i had testicle cancer wouldnt it show on my ultrascan?.

Yes all the lumps and bumps will show up on an ultrasound. What they look for is any lump that appears to be solid as opposed to fluid filled. If it's solid you have a problem, so in your case if you had any lumps they would have shown up as fluid filled and that may be why the doctor told you not to worry. And no they wouldn't mistake solid and fluid filled.

That makes me feel a whole lot better, But im still gona get it checked, I have a lump on my neck to wich im worried about, I think im agraphobic, Or what ever its called when you think thers something amatter with you all the time. So now i know that the thing that i was worried about isnt cancer it takes alot of weight of my back. Would you sill recommend me to see a doctor to get the neck and the testicle checked over ?

I would go to the doctor if for no other reason then it will help you sleep at night when the doctor says your ok.

Thanks guys ive decided not to go back to the doctor, as ive already been to get checked up then a ultrascan, Surely that would indicate i havnt got TC on the ultrasound so im quite reliaved, Thanks again for the replys makes me feel alot better knowing the stuff yous have told me.

i may add this happened when i got kicked int he testicle about 1 year back or so at start it was jst realy bad pain .could this be the cause of swolen veins or what ever becuase on my left i feel the same but littleer and these seem to be more pushed up to the top of my testicle( the left, with the swolen veins or what not)

i apreciate that, However i feel like nothing is amatter but thers something there saying, What if it is, But im like 95 % sure its not, Since ive had a ultrasound, When i was there i told the examiner... I got kicked in the left testicle he rolled the thing over top to bottom nothign came up, Now thats a good sign for me and ppl on here said, I havnt got much to worry about. I just wanted to know if the kick in the testicle incedent could have made these tubes go higher then my right and swell.

You're probably right about the injury to your testicle. I real bad hit could severly damage that organ, it won't cause cancer but real damage could ruin the testicle for sperm production. I would go back to the doctor and try and explain what you're feeling.
