Thanks for the support everybody. I really needed it. I finally told my parents about it and we're going to the doctor very soon. As a follow up, the pain seems to be less common, but more painful. I still don't feel any lumps besides the veiny feeling on the bottom. The left testicle seems to be larger by very little(as in hardly noticeable) and seems to be harder, but it could just be in my head. My girlfriend swears its not TC. Her mom is an oncology nurse and she said that most TC is painless, but I always think the worst in these kinds of situations and i think it is. I have always been afraid of TC because I had an undescended testicle when I was born and have always been told that increases the risk. This all had to come about when classes start this Monday! Wish me luck.
The day I found out about my diagnosis, I did feel a dull pain and hardening of the testicle without any noticeable lumps. If anything, for your peace of mind, it wouldn't hurt to go get yourself checked out by an MD. You are already doing the right thing by giving yourself the TSE, and it's great you are being proactive about it. Best of luck to you,
Odds are it's nothing, but I'd get it checked out. My first sign of cancer was a dull pain and very slight swelling (with no lump that I could notice) in the right testicle. It didn't take long before the right testicle was 3-4 times larger than the left one and had a very large lump.

I think you can relax all those veins belong there. It often described as feeling like a bunch of worms. Keep up the self exams but if the ache continues much longer give your local urologist a call.
Hi, I'm 19 and I have had a dull pain in my left testicle for about the past 3 weeks. It's not very severe, and occurs one to three times a day, usually when I am laying in bed. It does happen other time too though. I have no other symptoms. I have performed a TSE and noticed just a few things. My left testicle is much larger than my right, although I have been told this is normal. There we're no cancer like lumps(at least as far as I know, I've been told they feel like a pea or BB), however at the bottom of my left testicle it felt just slightly larger and veiny. It felt as if the bottom of the testicle was covered in veins. I am sexually active, but with only my girlfriend, so it can not be an STD. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm a wreck worried that it could be something serious.
