Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and I think it's a great outreach service for us men.
My situation has been going on for a little over a year now, about 16 months I guess.
Long and short of it, I've had an ultrasound which determined that "yes" I have a lump, which determined it has the same bloodflow and density as the rest of the testicle. I have another ultrasound 6 months later w/ blood work; and the lump is the same (good news), and blood work comes back normal.
Thereafter, my urologist recommends an MRI, which I had today. The guy doing the MRI let me see the pics and I noticed a "white" area on one of the testes (I'm guess my right one with the lump.
Just wondering what to expect from here. It's going to be 10 days before I get results and my head is wandering a bit. I'm frightened to death of having surgery to remove a testicle. Has anyone experienced the same thing here, i.e. ultrasound results and MRI? Should I be concerned about this "white" on the MRI pics?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks.
