  • i cant tell my parents

this morning i got a bath and i felt a lump and then i was very worried. i dont know too much about testicular cancer, im only 13, but its like as big as a pea and is on the right side of my right testicle. i dont know if you can die or what can happen from testicular cancer. i doesnt hurt and ive never noticed it until today. my main problem is im too nervous to show my parents. thankyou for any advice.

Dude, I'm 16 years old and a couple of days ago my left testicle started acheing reallu badly so I got a bit worried too.
I was really scared about telling my parents, but I'm going to tell them this afternoon because what could be worse? Telling your parents or the cancer spreading throughout your body which would make it God knows how many times worse.

You shouldn't be worried, you don't necessarily have to show the lump to your parents, just say that you need to see your GP and they should understand.

I hope everything works out well for you.

Both of you guys are showing and amazing amount of maturity. Your parents will certainly like the idea that you’re taking your own health seriously. Let us know what the doctor’s say. Chances are that it’s not tc but any lumps or bumps need to be examined.

That's great news. Make sure you keep up your monthly exams and congratulation for taking care of yourself. You should also thank your parents for taking you to the doctors, you would be surprised at the number of parents who would ignore this type of problem.
