  • I've found some sort of lump

im 16. at the bottom of my penis, a lump a little smaller than a pea, and it doesnt hurt much when i touch it, i can just feel it when i touch it. but it isn't attached to a testical or anything, its on the skin. i think it only come up today because i didnt feel it yesterday when yano.. or i might be wrong.

I'm really quite worried about this.. and i can't tell me parents.. (ill be honest, I'm very... self concious because i have a small penis..)

Please help, i don't know what it is.

I doubt it is testicular cancer if the lump isn't on one of the testicles, but any types of growths should be checked out by the doctor (it may just be an ingrown pimple or something). If you are uneasy talking about that type of stuff around your parents, just tell then you want to get a check up for peace of mind and then once u are alone with the doctor let him/her know what's up.

Personally, I think u should just tell your parents. They made your gear, so I doubt they are going to be awkward about it.

You parents changed you diapers. They know what "gear" you have. If it's on the skin, meaning if you pull your skin the bump moves with it, it may very well be an ingrown hair or zit in a hair follicle. TC is attached to the testicle. My advice, and I am not a doc, is to give it a couple of days to see if it resolves itself and if not tell your parents and get examined.

First off, I agree with Karen that you should keep a close watch on it for a few days and see if it is just a pimple or something minor.

Secondly, you don't have to let your parents see you naked or examine you if you don't want. You are a young man.....if you want to see a doctor, let them know that. Only a doctor can give you a true diagnosis.
