help please not sure

hey for the past month ive been having quite a dull ache in my right testicle, i have only one testicle which was removed about 6 years ago due to the tests growing up rather than down, sometimes i also have pain in my abdomen and also i sometimes struggle breathing than normal but i don't know weather this is due to my pain ?, the pain also is in my groin, it is very uncomputable and i ave been to the doctors 2 times and the first was a family doctor and he said it could be due to that i have on testicle and i could be been putting pressure on to my right , the other doctor said she could not feel a lump and referd me to a urologist next week on the friday, i think my problem has been long and if it is TC wouldn't it off spread now now, how fast does it spread? i am really woried becuase i have only turned 16

can any one help me please, it will be appreciated

Hi Manchesterboy,
You are doing the right thing by being referred to a urologist!
You are already steps ahead of many young guys who come here if they think there is a problem. Try to rest easy until you have more information. I would only advise you to try to get into the urologist sooner- if only to help with anxiety. Please let us know how it goes!

hey thanks the latest appointment with him is this friday and its down for a emergancy i tried getting one earlier but there isnt : , also would any one really know if my symptom's are the symptoms off TC, also i forgot to mention my scrotum hangs lower and my testes is harder than normal, and ireally want to know if i have had these problems long anough for cancer to spread if it has

becuase i have only on testicle its hard for me to compare it, my doctor also said that, i feel that my testes is alot harder than it use to be and that my scrotam hangs lower, but myself and the doctor could not find alump, if there is nu lump is there no cancer, i am confused about that ???

A lump is just a symptom. Some guy's never feel a lump, the tumor is right in the testicle and can't be felt. I wouldn't worry too much about having cancer and the ultrasound will give you all of the answers you need.

i went to urulogist

i went to the urolgist and he said because i have on testicle it is getting bigger becuase it has to do more work, all he did is feel around he said there is no problem, i had no scan why is this, can i trust him by saying i have no problem? can he really tell from just checking round my testicle with no ultrasound or nothing ?

i sill have the dull ache and it has been 6 weeks now, help please i am scared and worried

Six weeks with pain isn't good. What did the doctor say was causing your problem? Don't assume it's cancer but you deserve an answer. I would call the doctor back and explain how much pain your in and ask him to schedule an ultrasound.

he said its becuase my 1 remaining testicle is doing all the work for 2 testicles, it isnt pain, but a very dull ache,

the reason i thin kit is cancer, becuase the symptoms i am having couldnt be anything else could it?

also my urine has been cloudy alot since i had the pain.


the ultrasound will take a long time becuase the nhs is fully booked, it took me a long time just 2 go see the urologist

You need a urine culture as well if your urine is cloudy...could simply be an infection. Six weeks of pain with no explanation from the doc is not acceptable. Time to call him back and get an answer.

but i will have to wait a long time on nhs, my appoitment with the urologist which was last week was down for a emergancy and my appitment was ment to be 7th september i think, but the just sqeezed me in the other due to some cancellations, if the appoitment is late, could i go in through the casulty department ?

Nope....if it's an infection you need antibiotics and waiting a month will NOT be a good idea. Do you have painful urination or feel the urge to go but not much comes out? Any chance of a sexually transmitted disease (we don't need you to answer that...just consider if it's a possibility). I'd suggest you call your doc, tell him you have cloudy urine and pain and and see if you can get a urine sample to put through analysis. Not familiar with the NHS in the UK so I can't help you there.

yes sometimes i have the urge to urine but i don't urine alot, and there is no chance of a sexually transmitted disease
