pain one yr after surgery

hello everybody.
am a guy 24 yrs old.exactly one year ago, i had varicocele surgery on both sides(testicles) and both testicles were tied to the scrotum.forgive me if i dont know the exact terms. now for some days , i am having pains exactly in the same way as before the surgery and i am also experiencing some pains in the kidneys.
any idea why i am feeling pains?
