Hi im 14 the other day when i woke up i noticed at the bottom of my penis shaft there is a red lump everytime i touch it, it hurts is this just a thing that will go away? i dont want to tell my mum & dad please can someone write back asap many thanks

Hi skipper.

First of all, take it easy. There is NO reason to suspect anything malicious.
But there is no way out of showing it it to someone, be it parents or a doctor.
Of course you don't want to alarm and upset your parents, but they will definitely be more upset if you don't tell them!
So take a deep breath and go talk to mum or dad, they may react quite different from what you expect.

my freind had a red lump on his peniss, he dident tell anyone other than me. he was 16 at time and he just went to the docter and found out it was some infection he got some antibiotics and it was gone in less than a week! and i agree about telling your parents i am going to tell my parents tomorrow eak!

thanks eveyone i will tell my mum & dad so if i need to talk about it i can talk to them the pain is starting to go now so hopefuly everything is ok but im still going to see the doctor

la de da..i had a bump and it hurt and it had turned out to be acne...so just be mindful of that possibility too :-)
