Excellent! I'm glad you had the ultrasound so that you can rest easy.

Well I feel better it's a hydrosomething cell (not sure I just heard it on the phone). I'm so happy, I don't have TC, I thought I did and I got somewhat paranoid over it. I feel like I just had a weight lifted off me.

Good job getting that taken care of. Let us know what the doctor says.

Just got it my ultrasound today. I'll be able to know what that lump is in a few days.

Welcome, Kool. First off, congratulations on speeding over the first hurdle of telling your parents and getting a doctor's visit scheduled! Please let us know the results from your ultrasound.

Although as Dadmo says, we're getting ahead of the program, the TCRC will be an essential information resource for you if it does turn out to be cancer. There's a good explanation about the orchiectomy at this link.

First welcome to the forum. Your doing the right thing getting that lump checked out, it may turn out to be nothing but your better off finding out what it is. If they should need to remove the testicle it will not interfere with puberty. The remaining testicle will pick up the pace a bit and everything will be fine. As a precaution you can always have your testosterone levels checked by your doctor, but were getting ahead of our selves. Keep us posted as to what the doctor finds out and good luck.

I just found this place while googling about TC, since I could have it. There is a very solid lump on my left testicle (found out on 12/26 and then immediately told my parents) and I have an ultrasound tomorrow. Now I'm 16 and if I do have TC and get my testicle removed, will that interfere with my puberty (my dad had a undescended testicle and turned out to be a big guy, and 3 kids including myself)? Oh yeah, will my Testerone level be exactly the same? Does the remaining one get bigger since I've heard it makes up for the other one? And what's it like after surgery?
