well my urologist finally got the actual ultrasound results and his words "what I am looking at does not impress me as cancer" and "the size(six millimeters) and coloration is not what he usually sees in a cancerous mass" he said it may be an infection of and put me on 100 mg of Doxycyl...(I cant remember the spelling) he did have blood samples taken-not back yet- said after two weeks have another ultrasound....I dont know what to think I would assume if he was concerned it was cancer he would immediately schedule a I/O...I dont know is waiting and antibiotics normal??? I am 39 years old will be 40 this year if that has anything to do with it....looking for anyone who may have gone through the waiting and antibiotic phase and what happened any words would help

newbe:
When is the next ultrasound scheduled for. If you have a solid mass in the testicle it needs to come out now, don't let them drag this out. Early detection and treatment are critical to an easy cure.

right on I know whatever it is I am going to be OK its just the waiting my urologist checked me out without seeing the utlrasound because they failed to send it to him before my appointment and they were closed monday -day of appointment but the Urologist checked me out himself and couldnt find anything (mass supposed to be six millimeter in size) so he ordered another ultrasound and blood tests...if it is what it is i would rather have surgery to take it out tommorow instead of waiting till next monday to see him again he operates on weds so it would actually be from today tll next weds
I know I am going to be ok no matter what the outcome-i just cant stand not knowing and waiting

Check out the "How is testicular cancer diagnosed?" section of this page, which says, "If the ultrasound shows a solid mass inside the testicle, then cancer is presumed because most tumors in the testicles are cancerous."
It's still possible that you're dealing with something else, but keep things moving quickly. Rest assured that you'll come through this fine.

So yes?
So it is more likely that it is cancer?

Question
My doctor told me the Radioligist had advised that i have a six millimeter Cancerous mass inside the right testicle...my doctor however said it is "suspicous of cancer" because he stated he is not sure why the radioligist would make a statement like that... i have an appointment tommorow with a uroligist to determine what is going on. Does anyone out there no if the radioligist makes the call of cancer or not...or is it just so obvious that it is cancer because it is found inside the testie (no lumps or bumps on outside) I am open to anything anyone has to sayTags: None
