Hello all,
It's been a LONG time since I posted here at this site. Some of you may have read my story in main page. It's been an amazing two years. I can't believe that two years ago I joined this site, a few days after my orchiectomy.
Now I'm here posting to you to announce I could get to run in the NYC Marathon. Yup...you heard right. The very NYC Marathon that Lance plans on running in. How cool would that be!
I need your help though. To run, I've pledged to raise $2,500 for Team For Kids. A program in the NYRR (New York Road Runners Assoc) that helps finance athletic programs for kids. I've raised just over 200 dollars to date. I only have til the end of Sept to raise the rest.
So if you can find it in your heart and wallet
to spare a buck or two, I'm asking for your help so I can run in the same race as Lance. Just spreading the word is also appreciated. www.aircrewphotos.com/nycmarathon.html
