For all you East Coasters, it must be nice to enjoy 70 degree weather in early January!
Enjoy it while it's still there!

It was weird, but I took advantage of the warm, sunny afternoon to take a one-hour bike ride during my daughter's indoor soccer game. This is the first time I've ever been able to ride along the New Hampshire seacoast in January wearing shorts and a short-sleeve jersey!

Yesterday I went out to the park with my daughter and my wife. It was packed with families. The kid had a blast; I hadn't taken her out to the park since before the I/O -she's a little hard to keep up with. The evening was also quite pleasant, so I took the wife out for her b-day.

Here in the north we had our first christmas without snow recorded. It's really hot for january but it's always raining. Today we have a little bit of sun but it's cooler. All the ski center of the area are loosing a lot of money. It's not cold enough to do winter sports and not hot enough to ride in bike so i play racquet-ball and rent movies

72 degrees in Brooklyn -- just amazing! I took a run in the park, spent some time on the roof of my building, and, um, took down my Christmas tree, which felt kind of strange to do with all the windows wide open and a warm breeze blowing through -- it made me feel like I had waited way too long to take down the tree!!

Here in Northern California we have had spring-like weather too the past few days. Saturday I took a bike ride with my son and stopped for ice cream. Today it is expected to be near 70 - and I have to be in the office.
But, I guess today is the last nice day as a cold front will arrive tomorrow and temperatures will drop sharply. The second half of the week is expected to be downright cold with record lows - wind chills, hard freeze and possible snow dusting in the hills. Back to winter for us.
But, it was nice while it lasted.
