  • Lance Armstrong Cancer Advocacy

    Lance Armstrong recently wrote a commentary on cancer advocacy and inaction to that effect by Congress. While this commentary does hit a nerve (cuts in funding for us scientists studying cancer), it does make another subtle point: the dangers of being complacent.     I'm glad you drew attention to it, Fed. Lance wrote that after the November 2006 elections, and CNN republished it today. I have to brag that Cindi Hart, a friend from Cyclists Combating Cancer, appears in two of the video clips available in the bottom left, and that although you can't see me, I'm standing in the group behind Lance in the Washington D.C. photo.
