  • TIME Magazine Recognizes Young Adult Cancer Movement!

http://ImTooYoungForThis.org was ranked TIME Magazine Best 50 Websites 2007. This is a huge victory for the young adult cancer survivor movement. TIME Magazine has given our voices – NOW ONE MILLION STRONG – the critical boost it needed to bring our cause to the national spotlight. We've gone underserved for too damn long and now it's our time to make the case for change. We're pissed, we're mobilized and – most importantly – WE ARE STILL HERE!

    Stupid Cancer. Survivors rock.

    Hey Matt,

    Congrats on TIME's recognition!

I didn't know about the site until today. Spent the last hour looking through it and I'm blown away. And I feel like I've only even scratched the surface.

What an incredible resource for us. What an incredible community that you are fostering.

    Thank You,
    Michael

Awesome website. You guys are doing a good thing........I think many people who aren't actively involved in the life of a patient forget that the young can get cancer too.

Matthew, this is fantastic. I work on the side with the Adolescent and Young Adult Committee at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Let me know if there is any way we can help on our end.

                      Mark your calendars!

I was recently perusing through the "I'm Too Young for This!" site to check out the schedule of guests for Matthew Zachary's "Stupid Cancer Show". Mark your calendars for the following two dates:

March 3, 2008: Scott Slater (also known in the Forum as QuantumSheep) will be a guest for the show. He's a musician from NYC and a recent TC survivor.

March 17, 2008: Our very own Scott Joy will be the headliner!

The show is webcast on Mondays at 9 p.m. EST. It streams through the WWW. If you don't have a chance to catch it live, you can download the podcast on iTunes.
