For those in or near Philadelphia, the show's producer passed on this news. Anyone able to make the show?
I wanted to let your subscribers know about a solo theater performance in Philly this weekend. It's called "Ball" and it's the healing story of Brian Lobel, an awkward, unmasculine, unathletic, 20-year-old with testicular cancer.
The performance is part of the First Person Festival, an arts festival that features real-life stories by the people who live them. We were impressed by Brian's humor and candor and think others with cancer would empathize and enjoy his show.
For further info go to firstpersonfestival.org and search by date. The show runs for three nights, June 3-5, 8 PM at The Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine St.
