Zero danger. It's not like a CT scan that has ionizing radiation.

It's just sound waves, completely harmless

    Absolutely safe.

In this day and age, doctors are extremely careful about what they do with pregnant women. And they routinely do ultrasounds on them, sometimes many of them. So pretty much the only things that can happen are all psychosomatic.

It's safe - to put it in context it is the same test they use on pregnant women to look at the developing baby.

    How safe is an ultrasound?

    Dear readers,

As you might know I am an hypochondriac, which is really annoying sometimes.
Therefore, since I might get an ultrasound, I want to know how safe it really is?

Does an ultrasound, in any way, damage the testicle or increases the chance of getting testicular cancer from it if you might have a healthy testicle?

    Kind regards,
    Mark
