Thanks for all the birthday wishes!
The bad news is that the heavy rain caused our basement to flood. We had just replaced the carpet from our burst heating pipe earlier this year, and of course we don't have flood insurance. OK, enough complaints...
On my birthday, I flew to Washington, D.C. I celebrated with a birthday dinner with Cyclists Combating Cancer and spent today in advocacy training for LIVESTRONG Day on Capitol Hill tomorrow. I even got to shake hands with Lance Armstrong tonight. Today was a fun day.
