I sought out the board today for the first time mainly to share with anyone needing encouragement that I was rendered a uniballer and underwent chemotherapy almost two years ago and am now the father of a two-week-old girl. I had banked sperm but conceived her the old fashioned way. My wife and I were actively trying so we're delighted but do be forewarned that an orchiectomy and chemotherapy are not forms of birth control.
Congratulations! What better birth control could there be than having a two-week-old in the house needing attention!
Taking matters into your own hands after getting the implant

Now onto the implant. I can only speak from my personal experience but I absolutely love mine and cannot stand it when people are quick to disuade a guy from getting one. I had asked my urologist about it and he was more than happy to oblige, so I had mind put in at thetime of the orchiectomy. To answer your specific questions as to when you can reconvene self-abuse, you could seriously do it when you got home if you felt like it. If the doctor implants it through your original scar the only thing you have to be cautious of is hitting the incision on the downstroke. You're not likely to pull anything loose but it's not going to feel too good to pound on your wound and what's the point of jacking off if it doesn't feel good?
If you've got any other questions about implants, please feel free to email me. I don't know how often I'll check the board but you're welcome to send something to cocktailswithkevin (at) hotmail (dot) com. Incidentally I also have a blog at cocktailswithkevin (dot) com, and I even mention my fauxnad there. My wife calls it "Eggy" and we sometimes would joke that it was actually Eggy that got her pregnant.
Let me know how it goes -- the surgery I mean; not necessarily the masturbation.
yup im doing 100% fine, thanx for the concern. i was diagnosed with stage 1 but i guess my doctor wanted me to under go a fully year just in case since i was only 14 the year i was diagnosed. im not 100% sure about what type of chemo i got but every week i had the small less painful treatment and then every 3 weeks i had the strong treatment that would make me sick and nautious for a couple of days. I did not undergo any radiation thankfully. hope this helps to answer some of your questions.
Curious to what kind of chemo you had to have for so long or did you have to undergo a few differnent regimen over the cours of a year??? Hope your doing well now!!!! DON
A full year of chemotherapy? Yikes, that's not typical. I'm glad you're doing well now.
I would ask your doctor about how quickly you can resume sexual activity after your implant, but I don't expect you'll be told you need to wait very long.
