I got that news this afternoon, and my first thought was, "I have to post this for Brian!" You beat me to it!

I will try to get down there to take some pics It sounds like they are trying to figure out how to make it work right now since it is very busy without having a Star rider in the mix. This will be very hard for them to pull off with all of the news crews that will want to follow that group, along with all the people that will want to ride in that group. My guess is they will have the state patrol set up a buffer zone for them and they will take off first that way he can get done early and do all the interviews for the news groups and it will make the early national and local news.

Doubt I will ride any time soon just not the long long long rider like the rest of you nuts are . I will follow the ride and support my friends that do it, maybe I will drive the bus that is more my speed. I will try to post some of the bus pics from the area now that the ride is getting close they will be coming out of storage for a tune up errrrrr the fitting of the new kegs .
If you are ever interested in the ride let me know I can get you in touch with those that can give you the list of what is needed to make it and a club or group that will transport you from the end (where you leave your car) to the start of the ride on the other side of the state.

So much to do and so little time. Next summer is committed. Probably 2 weeks in the west, a one week fund raiser in PA. Both Nancy and I will be doing some work with the "Team in Training" plus my Armstrong ride. My real desire in two years is to climb Mt. Rainier (that's one of the main reasons I might get both knees replaced), but as always Nancy want's me to put that off, she thinks I might get killed but that's part of the excitment. Anyway if she has me put it off then we will be in Iowa, for the fun ride of a lifetime. It would be great to meet you.
