      huckchef -

Did they do ICSI or the regular in-vitro? How many embryos did they transfer? Did it work the first time for you guys? Congratulations on being a new Dad!

      Thanks,
      Jen

Yes Jen, we did regular in-vitro. It did work the first time. My wife only produced 5 eggs (which is in the normal range for first time, they were expecting anywhere from 3-10). Of those five only three developed into "good" embryos. So they implanted all three fertlized eggs for conception. We were really hoping for more eggs to cryo-bank(freeze) so next time it wouldn't be so expensive but that didn't occur. But after having experienced this miracle of life that we now have, I'll pay whatever if that opportunity presents itself for us. It is such a life changing experiece. It will be worth everything you put into it. I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything! My blessings and prayers are with you and your husband.
