Wow, seeing the site from 1998 brings back memories. When I was diagnosed with TC1 in 1996 (October 7th, in fact), the site was even smaller! Nevertheless, it was a lifeline and, shockingly (or perhaps not) the only resource I was able to find at that time on the Internet containing relevant, as opposed to superficial, information on TC. I never thought I'd need it again. It's good to see just how wonderfully that site has developed.

I happened to speak with Chris yesterday and he is moving to a new role with LAF. He is leaving the Grassroots team and moving into a role with the major donors group.
So Congratulations!

Chris points out that it has actually been 12 years!

So, here's a hearty thanks to Doug Bank, Chris Brewer, and Nick O'Hara Smith for creating such a fantastic fountain of knowledge for us "newbies". I look forward to the day when I'll celebrate 5, 10, 15, 20 and 50 years of having been cured, and I will always be grateful that I had a place to go where I could play 20 questions and put myself (and the Rev) at ease.
Not that you guys here are any slouches, either! I love this community.
By the way here's what the TCRC looked like back in 1998.
