    Have a great day...year...long helathy happy life! Hope all is well as you approach the "all clear" anniversary!
    Retired moderator. Husband, left I/O 16Dec2005, stage I seminoma with elevated b-HCG, no LVI, RTx15 (25Gy). All clear ever since.

    On my birthday last year I had the CT scan that showed my tumour had continued to grow during the 3rd and 4th Cycles of chemo. Not the best present Ive ever had.

    This time round it was much more fun, although I think we should be legally able to change birthdays, like you can names. December 15th (day I had the RPLND, and the last day I had 'it' in me) now seems a much more important anniversary to celebrate

    Left I/O March 05, nonseminoma;
    Relapse July 05, single lymph node 3cm;
    2 x BEP Aug / Sept 05, node grown to 4.7cm;
    2 x VeIP Sept / Oct, node grown to 6.7cm, markers normalised;
    RPLND Dec 05, no active cancer;
    back on surveillance

      right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

        My Dad had a heart transplant and we celebrated that day as his "rebirth" day.
