  • Happy B-Day dadmo!

I don't know what I'm doing up this late, but I did notice in the calendar that it's dadmo's birthday today. Sir, you are doing a great service to many in need around here. I will be hoisting some Scotch in your honor. Have a great birthday!

I had a wonderful day just Nancy and I with wings beer and John Prine playing in the backround. Yes I'm a hillbilly in the city. I did spend alot of time thinking about Mark (TCLEFT). His road will be hard, but what a kick a** party I'm gonna have for him when the journey is ended. He should be in Sloan next month and I will spend several evenings with him.
Nancy and I always have a theme this one from John Prine was her thoughts about me/us.

He's got more balls than a big brass monkey
He's a whacked out weirdo and a lovebug junkie
Sly as a fox and crazy as a loon
Payday comes and he's howlin' at the moon
                      He's my baby I don't mean maybe
                      Never gonna let him go

                      In spite of ourselves
We'll end up a sittin' on a rainbow
                      Against all odds
Honey, we're the big door prize
                      We're gonna spite our noses
                      Right off of our faces
There won't be nothin' but big old hearts
                      Dancin' in our eyes.
There won't be nothin' but big old hearts
                      Dancin' in our eyes.

                      God I love this women.

For the full version check out John Prine on Youtube the song is "In Spite of Ourselves" sung with Iris DeMent. (yes Nancy and I do enjoy each other)
Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.
