Bags of frozen peas work well for icepacks. If you laugh, cough or sneeze use your palm to apply pressue against the incision so it won't hurt. Take something to keep stools soft so you won't strain when having a BM. My husband was most comfortable standing and walking. For getting out of chairs use arm rests for support...for getting out of bed roll on your side and use your arms to lift you up. Keep moving to present scar adhesions, NO HEAVY lifting or you'll be back in for a hernia repair. The fact that your markers are clean and the size hasn't changed suggests seminoma. You will be fine...let us know how everyhing goes!!

I'd suggest the opposite. Don't knock yourself out, but do get up and walk frequently.

    Hey dude,
As far as the surgery is concerned, you'll be sore for several days, but each day is better than the last. Don't do any heavy lifting and get some rest. You should be fine to go back to work within a few days to a week. After a while, you won't even remember one of them is gone. Biologically speaking, your other guy will take over duties for the one that's coming out. Best of luck tomorrow, and remember we are here for you.

Losing one of the boy's won't change who you are. Good luck with the path report and keep us posted.

Try not to worry about being short a nut- you won't even notice it.
Hope you come out cancer free- let us know.

    Surgery Tommorow

Well its been a little while since I ve been here but here is the update
blood test all came back normal finished a two weeks of Doxycycline antibiotics...and had a second US yesterday was at the urologist today and the darn thing is still there all 6 millimeters of it...I believe I aged about ten years in the past two weeks...So after talking with the doctor he said this- if we take it out and it is not cancer you are very lucky -second if we take it out and it is cancer you are still lucky because was very small and chances of spreading are small as well...I really dont know how lucky i feel knowing tomorrow ill be one nut shy of a pair...but at least i will have a peace of mind knowing that if it was cancer I am doing the right thing and not letting it go any further....any words of advice on how to cope for someone who will soon be without one
Working...
