Garry,
I was really happy to have read your post with the results. I'll have some Scotch this evening to your health and successful recovery. Cheers,

That's great news, congratulations on being cured, just don't ever feel overconfident. Stick to your surveillance schedule, your life may depend on it.

path results in
Hi
Thanks for all your speedy recovery messages I had my follow up appointment today to get path results. The good news is that the tumour was 100% seminoma and contained so no further treatment is needed.
I am back to work on Tuesday and will just have frequent check ups to watch for recurrance.
The testosterone supplements seem to be working as I really dont feel any different but havent tried out for function yet.The consultant was keen that we waited a bit longer. So its cracking out the champagne this evening to celebrate and lets hope this is my last brush with TC.
Regards Garry

Yes, waiting for the path is painful.
In addition, laughing, coughing, sneezing, pooping and kicking a soccer ball (football for my UK friend) are all on my list of things I'd rather not do after the I/O.

oooh,yeah.......Pooping.....even a week later, sit down nice and easy....dude, use a stool softener, you'll be thankful you didLOL

Hey man, at least you have been through the ropes, so you already know that waiting for the pathology is the worst. Hopefully after this you will be cancer-free for good. Best wishes for a speedy recovery,

Glad to hear your surgery went well. The waiting has been the worst part of this whole T/C thing for me, especially when my mind started wandering. Keep your mind occupied while you're hanging around recovering and time will fly right by !! you'll be fine, don't worry too much.

Glad to hear you're done with surgery and on the mend. Waiting for results is always tough. I hope you'll find good distractions.

Its job done for now anyway
Hi
I had my surgery as planned yesterday and got home last night.I feel a bit battered and bruised but ok really. Its just the dreaded wait for results from pathology. The surgeon was very non commital when he came round to discharge me.The bad news was the didnt have my testosterone shot in to give me so I have to waddle down to my GPs tomorrow to get it.
Thanks for your positive thoughts and for those I discussed it with I went the flat bag route although its far from flat at he moment. We can always think about implants later if it bothers me.
