  • Thank you also to Bob

I am almost to 1 year and half after my remission and I wish this time i will make it to 5 years. I believe that at the time of my remission i thanked everyone here and i must still do it because this site is really a very good source of encouragement.

But i would never have come on this site if i did not have learned English. And i owe to a symbol of the American TV and consumer society in which we live. Mr Bob Barker who captivated my interest when i was a little boy. It is at this time that i have learned my first memorables words like "A NEW CAR !!!" or "COME ON DOOWN !!!!" and that then I continued in my effort to know 2 languages.

    Thank you Bob
    Eric

        Eric,
When I was a little kid trying to learn English back in the late 70s, I made use of two TV shows for help: Sesame Street and The Price is Right. Everytime my family traveled from Mexico to Texas to visit Abuelita, I would look forward to the weekdays in which I could watch The Price is Right since they didn't broadcast it in Mexico. Come on down!

          Mom

I awoke this morning with the news that he was retiring. It's at this time that i thought of my youth and that i have to thank him for my english. I wish well to live as old as him and to be in good shape like him at its age. Enough to fight with Adam Sandler
