  • Is it cancer?

    Hey.

Ive had it for quite a while and am getting sick of cotemplating the i actually have cancer.

Ill probably end up going to the doctors but i thought id ask here first.

On one of my testicles on the front middle part is some growth, about the size of a grain of rice which is attatched to the testicle but can be moved around.

    What could this be?

    Thankyou so much.

Having a growth that feels like it's part of the testicle is one of the things that should get you to a doctor. How firmly is it attached? If you can really move it around that's a very good sign.
Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.

Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.

Hey Matt, go in and get it checked. If the lump moves on the testicle, like Dadmo said- that is a good sign.
But it is concercing you enough to register on this forum, so now you need to see a doctor. I would start with your GP, Family Doctor- and they may refer you to a urologist, and order a painless ultra sound.
      Let us know.

The sooner you feel ready, the better. You probably don't have TC, but you should know that TC is an extremely fast growing cancer which should not be put on hold for any reason.

I would have to 2nd that. When it comes to something as serious as cancer you should never wait.
