    Great news Emily arrived at 12:02 AM Everyone is doing great baby is 8.6 pounds and 21 inches.

    Just the kind of good news the forum needed tonight.
    Stage III. Embryonal Carcinoma, Mature Teratoma, Choriocarcinoma.
    Diagnosed 4/19/06, Right I/O 4/21/06, RPLND 6/21/06, 4xEP, All Clear 1/29/07, RPLND Incisional Hernia Surgery 11/24/08, Hydrocelectomy and Vasectomy 11/23/09.

      Congrats to you and your wife. Emily is beautiful. You must be so happy. My goodness 8.6 nice size. Don't forget to let us know how that sleep thing goes.

          Welcome to the world, baby Emily , and congrats to Brian and Brenda! She is so precious!!!!
          Retired moderator. Husband, left I/O 16Dec2005, stage I seminoma with elevated b-HCG, no LVI, RTx15 (25Gy). All clear ever since.

                Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.

                Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.

                      Many thanks we are still just kicking back at the hospital watching the Cubs

                      We can stay 2 days past the due date so since baby was at 12:02 AM we get a extra day.

                      The little worm still just sleeps for hours she is getting a little more active but she has been a dream couldn't ask for anything more!!!!

                        4/26/07 - mass confirmed w/ no elevated markers
                        4/27/07 - left I/O
                        5/2/07 - Dx: 100% seminoma stage 1A
                        Surveillance: CT/blood (6 month cycle)
                        4/27/13 - 6 years cancer free!

                            what a blessing....she is a lucky little girl to have you both as parents!
                            Co-survivor with husband Boyce, Diagnosed 7-11-06, orchiectomy right testicle on 7-12-06- Stage 3A: Mixed germ cell tumor with inguinal seminomatous and kartotypic carcinoma. One tumor over 10 cm, second tumor 4 cm, Chemo 4xBEP: Bi-lateral RPLND Dec 2006, nerve sparing but left sterile.
                            Current DVT
                            Current testosterone replacement therapy, Testim.
