  • Red Sox MVP

As you can all imagine, I am extremely stoked that the Boston Red Sox have won the 2007 World Series. I do want to note that third-baseman Mike Lowell has been named the World Series MVP. Mike Lowell is an eight-year testicular cancer survivor who was diagnosed during his rookie season in 1999. Congratulations to him, and GO SOX!!

Indeed, Mike Lowell is not only a TC survivor, but our hometown hero as he lives not 5 miles from my house. Of course, we here in South Florida best remember him from his good old days with the Florida Marlins.......

Phil Kessel and I were diagnosed within a day or two of each other, he at Mass General, I at Brigham. And I agree, he's damned good on the ice.

I was actually at the Bruins game on Saturday! Fed, i totally meant to touch base with you because we hung out after the game at a nearby bar..

Kessel is the man, Lowell is a good guy and its nice to see him get the MVP.

Dude, you should've called me! I stayed home to watch the game so I didn't have any plans. Drop me a line next time you're in town. I'd totally be game for watching the Bs.

I am very happy for Mike Lowell and also Phil Kessel(phil is a very good player). But i don't like the big bad bruins and the red-sox. You can also find interesting stories about Saku Koivu(mtl canadians) and Mario Lemieux(pitsburgh penguins). They have won their battle against lymphoma.

Awesome story. I watched the entire world series and didn't hear his battle with TC mentioned once. It is great to stories with great outcomes.

Now we just need a superbowl MVP!
