Didn't you finish adjuvant chemotherapy 4 1/2 months ago? I would have thought you'd be able to work now. What are your doctors telling you?

Is this a company doctor or your oncologist? Why are they not allowing you to work? After 5 months you should have had some follow-up scans and blood work, what did they show?

Not to be nosey but are you in a job that requires extreme physical labor???Suffering from severe neuropathy or any other pysical restrictions?? You may want to contact you former employer to see if you can go back to work on light duty(even if its a desk job just to get you working). Cancer affects everyone different and each person requires a different amount of time to recover. After being stuck in a hospital bed for three months solid,5 surgeries,5 rounds of chemo and having to learn how to walk again, I returned back to work after almost six months(light duty). I am still suffering from severe neuropathy a can hardly walk sometimes but I found I can be productive in other ways. If your markers are back to normal and you feel like you could work then go for it!!!!! You will feel better physically and mentally .Best of luck to you and Happy Holidays!!!!!! DON

What reason are they giving you for staying out of work? It doesn't seem to make sense.
