  • In remission after 11 months!

    Dear Forum Members:
I write with the good news that my son has been declared in remission last week on 5/10/2023 after the latest CT showed that his one problematic lymph node after chemo (which ended on 9/30/2022) has shrunk to the normal size. He had non-seminoma, Stage IIB, went through 3XBEP, and had one persistent lymph node slightly larger than 10mm. Bless the compassionate heart and brilliant mind of my son's third urologist (we went to three different ones), and advice from Dr. Einhorn, my son was able to avoid the RPLND. I am so grateful that this forum exists, to Mike for running this forum and for giving expert advice, and to all of you for your support and insight. I learned so much from this forum. Thank you!

Dear all, Samantha, that joy your son, follow your pos since my son has a similar case, not seminoma, but with relapse at 2 and a half years in second testicle, so he had 2 cycles of chemotherapy, very hard, but yesterday he went to his oncologist, they did it is PET / CT
and he also gave it clean and apparently didn't need RPLND.
I want to thank Mike and everyone who contributed information because it helped me so much to read and research to know that the right thing was being done.
I also send mail to the Einhorn, I am really surprised that someone like the one who is the best in the world, has the humility of the great t of course I leave quiet

Waiting for this to end I will finally continue reading and in what I can help I am for what they need, and I congratulate all these fighters and tell them that according to our oncologist if they have to choose a cancer, I would always choose this one for its high healing
Thank you, thank you and thank you more!

Dear Adra; I am glad that your son does not need RPLND. Let's hope that both of our sons will be declared cure soon! My son has another CT in three months.
