Sucking down the barium sulfate shake...

"A pleasantly flavored quick flowing barium sulfate suspension..." the bottle says. I'm sitting here preparing for tomorrow morning's CT scan. The surveillance appointments are further apart these days, but they sure do still bring back memories!

      Yeah, right...

I actually tried a new variant last week for my labs which was a liquid concoction dissolved in raspberry Crystal Light (as recommended by Kman). Way better than the Tang-wannabe suspension.

You are going to do great. Just hold your nose, drink fast, and think of rum runners.

Can't wait to hear a super report

Clearly the people who wrote "pleasantly flavored quick flowing " never had the pleasure of drinking the stuff....

Why would they even bother describing it and tying to make it sound good, it isn't like someone is going to choose to buy it based on what the lable says!

                  How funny.

Looking forward to a great report!

                    "All Clear"

My oncologist's office called this morning to deliver the good news: my abdominal and pelvic CT scan and my chest x-ray are normal! Next Wednesday is my follow-up visit with the doctor.

It's a great day! I'm off from work to celebrate my twin sons' ninth birthday.

This is awesome, my friend. I hope the weather up in NH is as nice as it is here in Boston so you can have a great day with your boys.

It's always nice to hear that kind of news. We will never forget what you went through a couple of years ago. Enjoy your day with the boys and make sure you watch them carefully especially as they start puberty. (I know, always a mother.) Dianne
