I just called Dr. Brennan's office and the message said to call back monday after 9am.
I tried the main switchboard but there was no answer, I will continue to call until I get in touch with someone. I think we need to act quickly so I'm just trying to make sure I'm getting you in touch with the right person.

I think it's a good idea to get the treatment started. Sloan may have a different mix or idea of how to treat your son but if your guys can at least slow it down that will be helpfull. I will continue to call through the weekend, I Know others will read this thread and if they have any way of helping I'm sure they will.

I refined my search a bit and came up with a team (Sloans term) of experts
who deal with Alveolar. Heres the link http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/61946.cfm

Kay, I know I would feel the same way if one of my four children needed me. Do take care of yourself, though, as soon as active treatment is underway. You'll be more help if you're not exhausted.

It's completely natural to feel that way. Just remember when you do need a rest that you should not allow yourself to feel guilty about it. You and your family need you not to wear yourself out.

My uncle who was 1 year younger than me had a wife with a brain tumor we help her fight it for years they had 4 lovely children she got into her last stages it was hell.My uncle was to care for there children when she died but in oct 2000 he died while she was in hospital 6 months later she died from the tumor.
