    I'd imagine if the tumor is causing him pain the chemo should help shrink it and relieve some of that. I'm not a doctor and my experience was not the same so I can't speak for sure on it but logically it makes sense. Chemo will cause other issues that may be rough for him, but it will go by quicker than you expect. What exactly is his histology. You say nonseminoma but what type?

    My son was diagnosed 7/26/17. Stage III non-seminoma, several nodes (1 4cm) causing terrible pain. He starts chemo Mon 8/22/17. Please tell me the chemo will ease his pain.
