Hey Scott, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for getting that darn song stuck in my head for 3 days now

After my last bus ride with 40 or so Girl Scouts I had the Bazooka Bubble Gum song bouncing in my brain for a good month (actually that made it a just plain weird month!) one day at a time, la, la, la, la

It's so nice to have you back, Maria. You have lifted my spirits by your posts so I can imagine how those you directed them to feel. My daughter-in-law's baby shower was this weekend and I really missed my Mom. Normally at these types of events she would be smiling away and nodding her head pretending to hear what everyone was saying! Yep, in the melancholy there is laughter. Dianne

    One Day at a Time
    by John and Nancy Barry

This is it. (This is it.)
This is life, the one you get,
So go and have a ball.

This is it. (This is it.)
    Straight ahead and rest assured
You can't be sure at all.

So while you're here enjoy the view.
Keep on doing what you do.
So hold on tight we'll muddle through
One day at a time. (One day at a time.)

So up on your feet. (Up on your feet.)
    Somewhere there's music playing.
    Don't you worry none;
We'll just take it like it comes.

One day at a time, one day at a time.

We missed you Lyrical Sister. Our shoulders are always here for you. Welcome back to your other home.

Maria, please accept my sincere sympathy at the loss of your Dad. We know what a wonderful man and father he was through you. Not because you told us, but because he raised such a lovely daughter. Dianne
