I know this is a bit late response to you and the Zofran. My brother on his last chemo was taking Zofran which was $900 for a month supply, he would take them 3 x's a day, your insurance may cover but I just went yesterday to pick up some for this round of chemo and they just came out with this generic and he says it helps too. And only a $10 copay, so that's much better seeing how I had to pick up all his meds and the co pay bill still came to $100. Also he take Emend, 1 x a day (a.m.) it's about $400 and you take it before you get sick and it's been helping. His insurance won't cover that either, but the Dr. gave him samples, so ask for samples whenever possible. I think one of your earlier threads mentioned the use of Pot. My brother took the Marinol, which is pill form RX from Dr. it didn't work, BUT and I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but he tried the pot, ya no actual street pot, and he was a different person, the Dr. actually recommended he try it. Not ethical, but I don't care it worked.

    I meant anti-nausea, not anit

From the top of my head: my wife was taking Zofran orally while being pregnant w/ our baby-daughter. A 30-day supply, as billed to our insurance, ran about $900. That roughly translates to $30/tablet/day.

If your dealer charges $150/shot cocaine, you need to find a new dealer! You are paying far too much.

Added: If you could have seen her (and I suppose any chemo "recipient"), paying tribute to the "porcellan throne". The third day, you'd be happily paying $30/day not to have to commiserate any longer.

That's hard-hitting financial news! Unless you know what a single-day supply of Z cost before, you won't appreciate it.

    Generic Zofran

The first generic versions of the anti-nausea drug, Zofran, were approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration this month. See this link.
